STEM TALES - Bean Bags and Blueprints

STEM TALES - Bean Bags and Blueprints In-Person

Bean Bags and Blueprints features a video program developed by Twin Cities PBS in collaboration with StarNet, National Science Foundation, and American University. In this episode Isaiah and Ellie learn the importance of planning and design. They meet civil engineer Phil who reads the book They're Tearing Up Mulberry Street by Yvonne Ng from a construction site. Then we will break out the Tangram shapes and see what we can design before designing our very own town! Each family takes home an activity kit to extend the learning and playing at home. This co-learning STEM program is designed for children ages 4 - 8. Please register each child for each program you wish to participate in. There is only room for 10 families in each program so PLEASE only sign up for the events you are certain to attend.
