When Jumanji Came to Keene In-Person
Book talk with author Susan MacNeil and photographer Maureen McHugh. They will present the 30th anniversary issue of MacNeil's self-published book, When Jumanji Came to Keene. The book chronicles MacNeil's experience from the casting call for extras to spending a week on set in November 1994 and three days in the Spring of 1995 during the filming of this blockbuster movie. Each chapter captures interviews with the behind-the-scenes crew who make movies happen as well as the many local and regional extras. McHugh will share original photos not included in the 1995 book and discuss what it was like to roam the streets searching for the perfect shot.
