Math After Hours In-Person
Math after hours is for students in 4th - 6th grade who love math and for those who don't! This is not your typical math enrichment program. It is all about MATH PLAY which is creative and exploratory. We will play around with some big math ideas from Fibonacci to fractals. This is hands-on, minds-on experience where students will play with toys, games and puzzles.
Lisa Melander is a retired teacher and math specialist with over 25 years of experience. She loves math and helping folks make math make sense.
We will meet for 4 Tuesdays from 4 - 5 in the story room of the Youth Department of the Keene Public Library. For the last meeting, I encourage parents and caregivers to join us for some math fun!
