Lithophane Workshop

Lithophane Workshop In-Person

Learn to use our 3d printers by making a lithophane! A lithophane is made by layering thin, translucent material (originally porcelain, now plastic) with varying thicknesses. The light shining through the different thicknesses creates different shades of gray, forming the image.

To participate in this workshop you must complete the online tutorial: Introduction to the Makerspace and the Prusa 3D Printer Tutorial.  Both tutorials can be found here: https://my.nicheacademy.com/makerspacetutorials

Please complete both of these tutorial by Saturday October 4th. If you do not complete the tutorials by this date your reservation will be cancelled and opened to a person on the wait list. If you have questions please contact Amy Kraemer at akraemer@keenenh.gov
